The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating publicly/privately traded companies, with a strong focus on the mining sector. and regulatory changes affecting mining and related companies.Collaborate with portfolio managers and other analysts to develop sector-specific strategies and identify potential investment risks.What You Will BringMinimum 5 years of experience as an equity research analyst, buy-side/sell-side analyst, or a similar role in investment banking or asset management.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master's or CFA preferred).Deep sector knowledge of commodities, mining operations, and resource-based economies is highly desirable.Demonstrated track record of actionable investment insights and analytical rigor.Strong preference for candidates with experience analyzing or working within the mining or natural resources sector.Solid understanding of global financial markets, with a strong grasp of equity valuation techniques.Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented team environment.CFA designation or progress toward it is an asset.Salary Range$120,000 - $250,000About The CompanyFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
