Provide exceptional patient care as an Orthopaedic Technician at AHS in Northeast Community Health Centre. Utilize your skills in cast application and monitoring while supporting quality, family-centered care.
This part-time role requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification and specialized training as an Orthopaedic Technician. Your responsibilities include applying and removing casts, observing patient changes, and documenting all relevant information. You'll work collaboratively to ensure secure and effective care for patients and families throughout their orthopedic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply, adjust, and remove casts and splints
• Observe and document patient condition and behavior




• Provide support for orthopedic patients and family
• Maintain high standards of care in all tasks
• Ensure compliance with health care practices
Requirements:
• Accredited LPN education completion
• Registration with CLHA or eligibility
• Specialized Orthopaedic Technician program completed
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Minimum of 6 months orthopedic technician experience
