The Shift Boss directs and coordinates the activities and tasks of the work crew, ensuring that all necessary resources are available, and that each member of the crew is working safely.GeneralResponsibilitiesCarry out all directives of management. Read and sign all log books dailyEnsure all employees have the knowledge to work safely and efficiently by giving all employees job specific instructions on a daily basis and monitor progressAssist in work scheduling and planning. Be aware of any changes of conditions in the workplaceEnsure all equipment is in good repair,



have broken equipment scheduled for repair and make equipment available to mechanics when it is scheduled for preventative maintenanceFill out all progress reports or accident/incident reports that happen during their shiftEnsure that all employees are properly trained to operate the equipment they will be using.
