CertificationExperience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong knowledge on Caterpillar mining equipment in the field environmentValid driver's license with a successful recent drivers abstractMining equipment repair experience considered an asset especially 797 B & F Trucks, D11, 24 motor graders and 740 ADTImportant Details:This position is located at the Albian site shop on a 14x14 continuous shift rotation days/nightsCamp and flights provided from Edmonton or CalgaryMust be comfortable working in an austere mining environment, often working alone with no supervisionA condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicableUnion Membership:You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
