A key of bringing a recent silicon and boards to market is hands-on test, debug and characterization work. This role involves operating and maintaining lab setups, soldering and rework, execution of test plans to support efficient and reliable hardware validation.
Job Responsibilities
- Help to setup and maintain tests stations to ensure robust operation
- Execute functional, regression and validation testing on prototypes and production boards
- Assist engineers in performing measurements and debugging using standard lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Perform precision soldering and rework (SMT, fine-pitch components)
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize and streamline full system testing and validation workflows
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an electronics lab, PCB assembly or semiconductor environment
- Strong hands-on soldering and rework skills
- Experience with using oscilloscopes, multimeters and basic lab equipment
- Ability to read schematics, layouts and test procedures
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
