Wage: $37.00 per hour; full time (40 hours)

Job Description

- Repair and maintain heavy trucks, trailers, and large outdoor machines like loaders, excavators and mowers
- Test, fix, and service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, hoses and cylinders and electrical parts to reduce downtime during busy season
- Repair mechanical transmissions, hydraulic transmissions & brake systems
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work




- Service attachments and working tools
- Order needed parts and keep a clean repair shop
- Write down all work done and parts used

Job Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of experience with heavy duty equipment repairs
- Know how diesel engines and hydraulics work.
- Lift heavy parts and work in different weather.
- Follow all workplace safety and health rules.
- Have a valid driver license
