or delegateResponsibilities:Responsible for accounts payable functions including but not limited to:Processing accounts payable in a timely mannerProcessing employee expense reimbursementsProcessing credit card expense reportsPreparing cheque runs and EFT transfersCredit card statement reconciliationsMaintaining accurate and up to date Excel spreadsheets related to expenses andaccounts payableUp to date filing (paper or electronic) for all vendors and depositsResponsible for finance and accounting functions including but not limited to:Recording of capital asset accounting and depreciationPreparing FAPC accounting and reportingPreparing tuition receiptsAssist with special events when requiredOther ad hoc duties and projects as assignedMonitors inconsistencies in accounting transactions and takes appropriate action to remedy immediatelyCore Competencies and Skills:High degree of diligence, accuracy and attention to detailProactive, self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines by staying organized and managing time well.High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and collaboratively when needed.Requirements:2+ years of accounts payable or full cycle local accounting experience (non-profitpreferred)Effective communication skill both written and verbal in EnglishAdvanced computer literacy: Sage, MS Office Suite, Google Suite.Highly proficient in building, using and maintaining excel and word templatesKnowledge in compliance requirements#J-18808-Ljbffr
