Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick Engagement: Salaried What you'll do

Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while adapting to changing project dynamics. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery. Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders, including clients, management, and regulatory bodies. Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to cost control measures. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in project management.



Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to deliver exceptional service. Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, to support the growth of the company. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into project delivery. Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the engineering or consulting industry. A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with complex deliverables. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PMBOK. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management. Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills,



with experience in stakeholder engagement and reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Nice to have

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a specific sector such as environmental engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental impact assessments. Knowledge of contract management and negotiation skills. Experience with business development and client relationship management. Skills & tools

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles. Ability to adapt to new technologies and software as required. Practical notes

This position is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and may require occasional travel to project sites or client meetings.
