This role owns the Compute & Storage domain, including compute infrastructure, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup and recovery, and container platforms. You will define architecture, standards, and guardrails, ensuring platforms are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient. This is a hands‐on senior individual contributor role with strong cross‐team impact. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with three days in office.What You Will DoOwn and evolve compute, virtualization, storage, and container platforms across on-premises and hybrid environmentsDefine architecture, standards, and guardrails for performance, resilience, recoverability, and cost efficiencyDefine workload hosting, placement, scaling, and lifecycle management practicesOwn storage and data practices including tiering, retention, backup, and disaster recoveryAct as the primary interface to business and engineering teams, translating workload needs into platform capabilitiesPartner with Security, Operations,



and other Platform Owners to align direction and resolve dependenciesGuide SMEs on design decisions and ensure alignment with standardsDrive platform consistency, reduce fragmentation, and improve consumption modelsWhat You Bring8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, compute, and storage platformsStrong experience with virtualization platforms (e.G., VMware, Hyper‐V) and hybrid environmentsDeep knowledge of enterprise storage, backup, replication, and recoveryStrong understanding of workload performance, capacity, and data lifecycle managementExperience with container platforms (e.G., Kubernetes) and contemporary compute environmentsPractical experience integrating on‐premises infrastructure with cloud servicesExperience defining platform architecture, standards, and guardrailsClear communicator, able to work across technical and business stakeholdersPragmatic and outcome‐driven mindsetThe expected salary for this position is $130,000 to 140,000 CAD. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position.
