We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them."Your roleReview of a wide range of personal tax, review and compilation engagements and ensure all tax related matters have been adequately addressed prior to filingReview complex Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staffReview and approve technical research and tax planning recommendations for private companiesDeliver high quality tax planning, services, and adviceWork closely with Partners and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagementsLead special tax engagementsBuild and manage client relationships at a senior level and identify client service opportunitiesProvide support,
coaching and development of firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and matters on an ongoing basisPreparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staffManaging engagement financials including budgets, work in process variances and billingWhat you bring to the tableChartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation or equivalentSuccessful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master of Tax Program7-10+ years of public accounting experience with experience in a tax specific environmentHigh proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware, and TaxPrep considered an assetExcellent attention to detail and project management skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and ability to work both independently and demonstrated ability to work with other's effectively as part of a teamUnderstanding of a client-focused fast paced work environment and the ability to effectively pivot between tasks, prioritize and manage deliverables to meet conflicting deadlinesExperience working with owner managed businesses considered an assetWhat's in it for you?Competitive salaryFlex timeComprehensive benefit packageWhere you'll work:Greater Moncton, NBJob type:Permanent, Full-timeYour schedule:Monday to FridaySalary range:Will be communicated at a later stage in the hiring processWhen you join Baker Tilly, you become part of something bigger—an ambitious, forward-thinking company that puts people first.
