As a Dietary Aide you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents'.



As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.How You'll SucceedFood Preparation & Food HandlingAssist with the preparation of meals, and serving mealsFollow residents' diets and food preferencesTake the menu orders from the residentsSet and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitizedEnsure you are following proper food handling techniquesWho You AreHave a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtainYou are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullestYou are detailed-oriented coupled with robust customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staffYou may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitalityWhile possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it's not a requirementYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate provinceSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
