Full time term Intermediate/Secondary Math and Science Classroom Teacher position. Duties to commence September 8, 2026 until incumbent returns (Maternity Leave).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.
- Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.
- Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning setting for students and families.
- Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
- Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Education
- NL Teaching Certificate - Level IV or higher
- Appropriate Training Methods
- Major (10 courses) and Minor (6 courses) as noted above in applicable subject area
- Equivalencies will be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
