24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions is looking for Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (current and in good standing) to work at a large mine in the Bathurst Inlet region of Nunavut. The PA would be joining a team of medical professionals including Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Advanced Care Paramedics, and Primary Care Paramedics. Our occupational health clinic is supported remotely by a team of ER physicians.Above industry standard compensation, fully covered flights to and from site, 24/7 access to on‐call doctors for support, multiple project locations, and a COR Certified safety program are just some reasons to join the 24/7 OEMS team.The Canadian Certified Physician Assistant will be expected to practice within the medical directives and formulary as approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director. The PA will work as part of the on‐site clinical team and have access to our 24/7 on‐call emergency medicine consultants. Prior experience in occupational medicine and/or the provision of advanced care in a remote setting would be an asset.The PA Will Be Expected ToProvide on‐site emergency / primary and occupational health servicesAssist with occupational injury / illness case management.Review pre‐employment medical examinations.Provide occupational health surveillance services: audiometric,
