Join a diverse team of innovators, collaborators, and creative thinkers today.Job DescriptionJoin Nova Scotia's thriving healthcare ecosystem, where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative, compassionate care for generations to come.Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) in Kentville, Nova Scotia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our collegial and supportive team of nine other full-time Anesthesiologists.The VRH is a 137-bed regional hospital that serves as a major surgical referral center for over 200,000 patients living in the Western Health Zone of Nova Scotia.Our group provides anesthetic services for over 6,000 operating room cases a year. We also deliver support to an obstetrical unit that sees approximately 750 deliveries per year. We currently run five operating rooms daily.ResponsibilitiesProvide care and coordination of community-based care,



and secondary and tertiary level health care.Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activitiesProvide anesthesia at VRH for a variety of surgical services including: general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, urology and ENT.
