We are seeking a technical leader to guide a team of up to 12 engineers in building reliable, secure, and observable agentic systems that operate within the healthcare sector.

What you'll do

- Manage the performance, skilled growth, and output of a team of up to 12 engineers.
- Oversee technical execution and architecture for core components of the AI platform.
- Establish standards for delivery speed, system reliability, and incident response.
- Translate complex customer requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Partner with Product, Design, Deployment, and Security teams to improve platform scalability.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
- Ensure probabilistic AI systems meet the rigorous demands of enterprise healthcare.

Requirements

- Proven experience leading engineering teams during periods of rapid growth and high ambiguity.
- Technical expertise in production software systems,



including architecture and operational excellence.
- Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, model orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to balance speed, scalability, and quality.
- Experience managing performance and coaching engineers to raise the overall talent bar.
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade security and healthcare compliance, such as HIPAA, SOC 2, PHI, and audit logging.
- Ability to engage directly with technical architecture and production issues while maintaining a high-level view of business goals.
