Job OverviewThe Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides personal care and support to clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene, ensuring a protected and resident‐centred approach.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with personal care, hygiene and daily activities.Support clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe manner.Adhere to government standards, residents' rights and the organization's mission and philosophy.Maintain a resident‐centred focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Work independently and as part of an active, positive team.QualificationsGraduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.Experience in a long‐term care setting is an asset.Current CPR Certificate.Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.Demonstrated initiative, problem‐solving and time‐management skills.Behavioural management training (Gentle Persuasive Approach, U‐First, CPI) an asset.Computer literacy (Point Click Care,
