Position SummaryThe Senior Manager, Category Management, Direct to Consumer (MX), reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales, DtC, is the lead for the Mobile (MX) division and external customers. The incumbent is accountable for DtC revenue (Samsung Brand Stores, S.Com/Apps), key customer strategies and category profitability. This role is key to aligning with the Mobile Business division product category goals and objectives, and to meeting market‐share growth targets. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing Mobile OMNI‐channel business, working closely to develop new sell‐out platform initiatives, leveraging marketing and media to increase customer loyalty, retention, and new acquisition/switching. This role has overall accountability to all channel sales—including consumer, EPP, B2B, Marketplace, ShopAPP, and stores—to ensure consistent execution, merchandising, and promotional planning that addresses key personalization and segmentation strategies. Specifically, the incumbent manages HHP and Accessory categories, ensuring flawless execution (GTM) across the various channels with a focus on product launches, seasonal moments, and key commercial events online and offline to develop a holistic customer journey. understanding differentiation strategies and key productsDevelop and support short‐term and long‐term strategies and promotion plans to maximize DtCEnsure all communications are compliant from an IP, legal and product perspectivePerform QA on all online product and offer launchesSECA product lifecycle management and EOL planCollaborate with performance marketing, strategy & planning, operations, customer experience, finance, legal and division sales teams to build tactical product and promotion plansAnalyze and manage P&L impact of promotions and apply to future planning for profitable long‐term growthWork with each division's PM team and leaders to align overall strategy and objectivesData management and reporting on daily, weekly and monthly sales insightsDevelop monthly sales forecast by working with different account managers and SCMsCreate ad‐hoc and regular reports to senior leadership on key plans and results (product launch, key promotions, major holidays)Monitor and analyze sales trend, traffic, conversion, SWOT, ROI, and areas of improvement, and report on a regular basisSales InitiativesGenerate creative and unique promotion & offer tactics based on market research and competitive analyticsGather all information and requirements regarding all sales initiatives (e.G., product launch, promotion, key sell‐out platforms) and provide timely communications to operations & SCM teamsConstantly assess current system and operational limitations and look for sales growth opportunitiesConstantly monitor site & store readiness and promotion executions to minimize potential customer escalations and negative sales impactDefine Direct to Consumer sales target for the division and share with sales division's PM team and leaders to identify additional opportunitiesObtain alignments and internal approvals on key activities & processes with all related divisions (sales divisions, finance, service)Lead internal projects, tracking, reporting and weekly meetingsManage sales program activities across eCom, Stores, Marcom, Sales, and PMWork with the marketing and legal teams to develop creatives and legal terms & conditions for online offers and promotions of sales divisionsPartner ManagementManage business relationships with external partners (eCommerce resellers, distributors, payment providers, marketplace and direct customers)Work with external partners to develop sales strategy and promotion plans (e.G., financing, trade‐in, CPO)



to meet various consumer needs and provide relevant benefitsDevelop account‐specific sales and marketing plans with partners to drive businessConduct regular business reviews with partners to improve visibility to critical KPIs and co‐develop solutions to drive operational successCollaborate with internal teams such as legal, Marcom and finance to develop contracts, communication materials, and reconcile marketplace sales/returnsRequirementsEducation: Associate's degree in Marketing, Business or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience in consumer electronics industryKnowledge: Demonstrated people‐management skills; expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and proficiency with online analytical processing (e.G., Omniture & Google Analytics); strong analytical & persuasion skills; exceptional organizational & planning skills with a sense of curiosity and urgency; highly developed communication & interpersonal skills; self‐motivated and ableto work with limited supervision; proven ability to function effectively in a team environment; ability to travel overseasExperience: 8–10 years in OMNI, eCommerce & marketplace, strategy & planning, product management; thorough understanding of product and promotion cycles; experience working withbrand stores, eCommerce, B2B and marketplace; experience with digitalperformance marketing would be an assetSalary and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is expected to be between $120,000 to $165,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job‐related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
