About the RoleEY Canada is seeking an experienced Manager – Technical Architect to join our Microsoft Power Platform team. The role involves designing, delivering, and supporting end‐to‐end Power Platform solutions, driving business development, and mentoring technical staff.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipLead the design of end‐to‐end Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, AI Builder) aligned with business objectivesTranslate functional and business requirements into scalable technical architecture and specificationsDefine and enforce non‐functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, and complianceAct as the technical authority across engagements, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practicesConduct code reviews and design validations to ensure solution quality, maintainability, and performanceProject DeliveryOversee end‐to‐end delivery of Power Platform projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post‐launch supportCollaborate with cross‐functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholdersEnsure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance standards, especially in regulated environmentsBusiness Development & Practice DevelopmentSupport business development and pre‐sales activities across the pursuit lifecycleContribute to solutioning and solution design, ensuring alignment with client needs and EY standardsParticipate in deal governance and internal approval processes in collaboration with key stakeholdersSupport effort estimation, pricing, and proposal development for client engagementsClient EngagementAct as a trusted advisor to clients,
translating business needs into technical solutionsLead technical workshops and demos to showcase platform capabilitiesProvide strategic input on digital transformation initiatives leveraging Power PlatformTeam Management & MentorshipManage and mentor consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learningSupport recruitment and onboarding of new technical talentPromote agile delivery practices and DevOps principles across teamsSkills and Attributes for SuccessMinimum 6–8 years in software development or technical consulting, with at least 3 years in Power Platform leadership rolesCertifications: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL‐400), Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL‐600), or equivalentDeep expertise in Power Platform components and integrationsExperience with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD practicesStrong understanding of data modeling, API integration, and security frameworksExperience with Agile/Scrum practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset for Québec‐based projectsWhat We Look ForWe are looking for a proactive and results‐oriented individual who is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success.
