The Town of Virden has an opening for a Sanitation II position commencing immediately.This is the senior position in the garbage collection division of the Public Works Department, although the individual could be required to assist in other departments if necessary.This position requires an individual that is in valuable health and capable of carrying out the physical requirements of the job and able to pass a medical examination. A high school diploma or equivalent is required as well as a Class 3 with Air driver?s license.Operation, maintenance and minor repair to the Town's garbage trucks and related equipment; Responsible forthe collection of garbage as per assigned routes and maintenance of a specific time schedule; To assist in the loading of garbage; Miscellaneous duties as required,
