They require disciplined execution, advanced coordination, and leadership at the highest level.At TrueNorth, we don't just build buildings - we build long-term infrastructure platforms designed for resilience, sustainability, and national impact.The PositionTrueNorth is seeking a full time strategic and execution-focused Senior Project Managerto lead the delivery of large-scale data centre developments across Canada.Reporting directly to the President, this role leads multiple concurrent projects and ensures delivery excellence across scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk, while aligning internal and external stakeholders.This role is ideal for a seasoned construction leader who has successfully delivered large, complex commercial or industrial projects — preferably within data centre or other mission-critical environments — and is ready to operate at an executive level.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple large-scale data centre and commercial construction projects from early planning through commissioning and handoverServe as the primary executive accountable for project performance, outcomes, and risk mitigationPartner with the President and executive team on project strategy, capital planning, and delivery governanceBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, utilities, consultants, contractors, lenders, and authorities having jurisdiction2. Development & Pre-ConstructionLead feasibility analysis, due diligence, budgeting, procurement strategy,
and master schedule developmentDefine project scope, technical requirements, and execution strategies in coordination with architects, engineers, and utility providersOversee RFQ/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and award recommendationsIdentify and proactively manage project risks, long-lead procurement, and regulatory compliance (BCBC, NECB, municipal approvals)3. Design & Technical CoordinationDirect design development from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC) documentationEnsure integration of architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systemsLead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve technical and constructability challengesOversee value engineering, design optimization, and formal change management processes4. Construction ExecutionEnsure disciplined oversight of schedule, cost, quality, and safety performanceReview and approve progress claims, change orders, RFIs, and key submittalsLead site governance meetings and drive timely resolution of issuesManage multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and cash flowAdminister contracts (CCDC, CCA, and related frameworks), including change management and claims resolutionMaintain rigorous project controls to ensure cost certainty and risk discipline6. Stakeholder Reporting & GovernanceProvide clear executive-level reporting on schedule, financials, risks, and key decisionsAlign development, design, construction, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycleServe as the central communication link between executive leadership and project stakeholdersLead system commissioning, integrated testing, and performance validationOversee deficiency resolution,
