The focus of this role includes the admission of new, unassigned, and unattached patients through the Emergency Department (ED); comprehensive patient rounding and stabilization at the end of the day; and responding to urgent, non-code calls for patients admitted to the site. Successful applicants will join our group of Hospitalists and participate in an on-call rotation, which is approximately 1:3 for on call with 5-7 day work weeks. Candidates should have a strong interest in integrating and developing their acute care hospitalist practice within the Sechelt Hospital team.Remuneration for your activities within the inpatient care services will be through the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) payment model.Sechelt Hospital is a 63‐bed acute care facility located on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
