Responsibilities Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment.The Lands and Resources Cluster (LRC) and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources require a Senior Solution Architect to update the Enterprise/Solutions Architecture for their Water Information Systems Kisters (WISKI) including the new Weather Module and the Great Lakes Storm Surge Operating System (GLSSOS) Portfolio.ResponsibilitiesProviding leadership, guidance and support to the project team and subject matter experts; creates and maintains all models/artifacts/diagrams as it relates to establishing a solutionUpdate, develop and validate all required solution architecture models/artifacts, documents and materials (according to industry best practices, GO-ITS standards and OPS EA guidelines using the appropriate version)Collaborates with cluster staff, project teams, ministry Subject Matter Expert (SME) and other OPS partners/service providers to ensure architecture alignmentDevelops artifacts leveraging cluster/ministry tools and model repository (e.G.
