Clinical Director, Work Oriented Clinical ProgramsCAMH's new strategic plan, Connected CAMH 2024-2030, outlines a bold vision for advancing care through discovery and education, providing early care and supporting mental health justice. The implementation of this plan requires ensuring access to care within CAMH and supporting partners in the community, focusing on quality and patient experience.CAMH is a leading mental health and addiction care provider for third‐party funded programs. Demand for these services has increased, and the organization is committed to high‐quality, timely care. The Clinical Director will strategically advance and deliver these programs in collaboration with various partners.ResponsibilitiesThe Director leads a team of managers overseeing multidisciplinary teams, guiding mental health professionals and fostering a patient‐centered culture of continuous improvement. The Clinical Director works in a dyad with the Medical Lead, managing a program of approximately 35 staff and anticipating future growth.The Director ensures excellence in practice and professional standards, quality of care, efficient financial and human resource management, safety and risk management, program planning, change management, and service evaluation.The Director advances the concepts, infrastructure, human resources, and relationships needed for a programmatic focus, collaborating with CAMH leadership and external partners to deliver patient‐focused programming.The Director manages third‐party relationships, ensuring the team meets operational requirements, achieves financial targets and explores strategic growth opportunities. This includes operational oversight of clinics and services and leading service expansion initiatives.The Director supports a healthy workplace that embraces diversity,



encourages teamwork and student learning while complying with all applicable regulatory requirements.QualificationsThis position requires an experienced health‐care leader with strategic and operational experience in a health‐care environment, preferably in fee‐for‐service or third‐party funded programs. The candidate must be a regulated health‐care professional with a Master's Degree in a relevant clinical, healthcare or business discipline. A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive management experience, including unionized environments, is required. Clinical experience in mental health and/or concurrent disorders is preferred. Strong negotiation, communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work with diverse communities. Bilingualism (French/English) or a second language is an asset.Compensation & BenefitSalary is competitive and based on experience, with a hiring range of $147,698.95 – $184,623.68 per year.
