About the OpportunityJoin Sun Life Financial as an Estate & Financial Planning Services Planning Director where you'll make a meaningful impact on clients' financial futures. In this role, you'll partner with our network of Sun Life Advisors to develop comprehensive financial strategies for high-net-worth individuals and business owners, while contributing to the growth of our financial planning capabilities across the organization.What You'll DoDesign advanced, holistic financial plans addressing retirement, tax optimization, risk management, and estate planning strategiesDevelop specialized strategies for intergenerational wealth transfers and business succession planningDeliver regional training sessions and client seminars on advanced financial planning topics through both virtual and in-person formatsCollaborate with insurance specialists and case managers to provide integrated solutionsBuild and nurture relationships with field leaders, advisors, and senior stakeholdersStay current with evolving tax regulations, estate law, and wealth management best practicesWhat You BringCertified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (required)Minimum 7 years of financial planning or related experienceProfessional credentials such as TEP, CLU, or CPA (preferred)Deep expertise in financial planning principles, wealth management, tax, and estate planningStrong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyProficiency with financial planning software (Conquest experience is a plus)Excellent communication abilities and proven relationship-building skillsSelf-directed approach to work with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesComfort with digital collaboration tools (MS Teams) for remote client engagementAgricultural tax knowledge is an assetReporting to: Regional Director,
