A career as a Governance Legal Advisor within the Legal Affairs team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in corporate governance and corporate law. In this role, you will have a positive impact on our organization through your governance expertise, strong legal acumen, and ability to structure complex projects.Your roleEnsure governance and corporate secretariat support for subsidiaries, including maintaining minute books and coordinating board and committee meetingsDefine and implement governance frameworks tailored to the organizational structures of subsidiariesOversee the entity management system and structure transactional or internal reorganization projectsCoordinate legal matters related to subsidiaries, investments, and international activitiesProvide strategic legal advice to support business decisions and operationsMonitor legislative and regulatory developments in governance and recommend required adjustmentsYour teamWithin the Legal Affairs sector, you are part of a large team and report to the Senior Director, Subsidiary Governance. or the Chambre des notaires du QuébecExperience in subsidiary governance and corporate secretariat managementKnowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to corporate law and corporate governanceExperience drafting and reviewing corporate and legal documentationLanguages: French, English Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
