The Department of Education, Culture and Employment is looking for a Manager of Policy to oversee the Policy, Legislation and Communications Division. This term role focuses on making strategic recommendations to the Minister and senior management, coordinating various policy functions, and leading a team of 3 Senior Policy Advisors. The ideal candidate will possess a background in policy, Aboriginal rights, or intergovernmental relations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the development of departmental policy initiatives
• Provide strategic advice to senior management and Ministers




• Coordinate and review policy and briefing materials
• Supervise a team of Senior Policy Advisors

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree plus a graduate degree or law degree
