Acting as the GC's technical authority for building systems, the MEP Manager ensures MEP work is fully integrated with architectural and structural elements, delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, codes, and quality standards.This role is critical in managing trade contractors, resolving technical challenges, and supporting successful commissioning and turnover of complex building systems.Responsibilities:Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify MEP scope, risks, and coordination requirementsParticipate in design development, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiativesAssist with MEP budgeting, cost planning, and procurement strategiesSupport subcontractor tendering, evaluation, and award recommendationsDevelop MEP execution plans, phasing strategies, and site logistics in collaboration with the project teamMEP Coordination & ExecutionLead MEP coordination meetings with consultants,
subcontractors, and internal project teamsEnsure MEP installations align with architectural, structural, and life‐safety requirementsCoordinate sequencing of MEP activities with overall construction scheduleMonitor field installation to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codesSchedule, Cost & Change ManagementTrack MEP progress against the master schedule and short‐interval plansReview and validate MEP subcontractor progress claims and change requestsIdentify potential delays, cost impacts, and mitigation strategies earlySupport change management, including pricing reviews and schedule impact assessmentsQuality, Safety & ComplianceEnforce quality control standards for all MEP systems and installationsEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standards (OBC, CSA, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.)Promote and enforce site safety requirements in coordination with the project team and subcontractorsParticipate in inspections, testing, and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) reviewsRequirementsDiploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, or a related field8–12+ years of progressive experience in MEP coordination or management on ICI projectsProven experience working for or with a General ContractorStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection,

Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity.
