The qualified responsibilities include:Providing tutoring and academic advising for students both in and out of classProviding a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources including educational technologiesEvaluating student progress/achievement and assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of the student's work within assigned coursesThe development and creation of a learning environment that is conducive to success for all studentsModeling the College values – Caring. Learning. Integrity. Respect.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related fieldMinimum five (5) years of practical experience in digital forensics,



incident response, or cybersecurity investigationsProficiency in handling real-world cybersecurity cases, with a strong understanding of threat detection, response strategies, and forensic analysis toolsGCIH or ECIH certification is considered an assetMinimum two (2) years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a postsecondary setting is considered an assetDemonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a postsecondary setting is considered an assetDemonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies is considered an assetHighly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skillsDemonstrated skill in Algonquin College's preferred teaching competencies as set out in the Professor of the 21st Century document: http://www.Algonquincollege.Com/pd/professor-of-the-21st-century/Evidence of commitment to the success of all learnersThe pay range for this position is $80.63-$139.88 per hourAlgonquin College values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
