AWS Security Assurance Services is seeking a Senior Assurance Solutions Architect to join their team across multiple Canadian locations — Vancouver, BC, Toronto, ON, and Ottawa, ON. This is a senior, customer-facing role at the intersection of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.The AWS Security Assurance Services team works with the largest enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud.The team is a PCI-QSAC (Payment Card Industry-Qualified Security Assessor Company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm, helping customers achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud.Key ResponsibilitiesLead teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programsDefine innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers migrate sensitive workloads to the cloud fasterResolve security assurance questions through deep-dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‐on demonstrations of compliance automation in the AWS environmentConvey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams to influence AWS technology roadmapsTravel to customer sites as neededBasic Requirements8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.G., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking,



data and analytics)3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industriesPreferred Qualifications5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experienceKnowledge of SAP systems (SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needsExperience working with end‐user or developer communitiesExperience managing relationships with SAP customers and partnersExperience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP PrivateExperience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‐SAP technologies in Generative/Agentic AI and data and analyticsBenefitsBase salary range: $146,000 – $211,600 CAD annually.
