Job SummaryJob Title:Clinical Academic Heart Failure/Echocardiography CardiologistWork Site:Vancouver General HospitalStatus:Full-TimeStart Date:July 1, 2025Compensation Type:Fee-for-ServiceOverview:The Division of Cardiology invites applications from outstanding cardiologists with advanced training in Echocardiography (level III) and advanced Heart Failure wishing to pursue a research‐focused career. This position is primarily based at Vancouver General Hospital in conjunction with a potential clinical role at St. Paul's Hospital, both UBC‐affiliated teaching hospitals. The successful applicant will be expected to pursue an academically focused career based on a strong publication and research track record, demonstrating the ability to obtain peer‐reviewed grant funding within the early phase of their career.Responsibilities:Provide inpatient and outpatient management of patients with heart failure.Perform all aspects of echocardiography including diagnostic TTE, TEE, stress echo and structural/interventional echocardiography.Allocate half time commitment to heart failure research and academic activities.Engage in teaching and training of trainees, fellows,
