The group provides a full spectrum OB/GYN practice including routine and high‐risk prenatal and intrapartum care, office and perioperative gynecology including open and minimally invasive surgery, and colposcopy.Full scope of practice as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist providing care in the Western ZoneParticipate in on‐call and respond to urgent matters within 20 minutes of being calledResponsible to the Zone Department Head for Obstetrics & Gynecology for professional responsibilities and quality of practice,
and operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health AuthorityRemunerationRemuneration and deliverables are through an existing Alternate Payment Plan contract; the contract value is $451,604 per annum, with additional on‐call stipends and other incentives available through the Physician Agreement between the Province of Nova Scotia and Doctors Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will share an established office and expenses with two group members.Location: Kentville, Nova Scotia. Valley Regional Hospital is a 137‐bed facility providing inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and satellite care to a catchment area of over 80,000 residents. The obstetric service delivers approximately 700 babies per year, supported by a Level II nursery and a five‐member Pediatrics group. On‐call is 1:6. #J-18808-Ljbffr
