Director of Product, AIToolbx · Product · Full-time · Remote (USA or Canada) · Reports to VPThe RoleWe're looking for a Director of Product who leads from the front. You'll own the roadmap, the execution, and the outcomes. You'll also run discovery calls with dealers, prototype solutions, and tackle complex integration problems with AI agents and automation. This player‐coach role has no need for a professional manager.You'll report directly to the VP of Strategy & Partnerships and manage a small product team, collaborating with cross‐functional groups across engineering, customer success, design, and commercial. You'll be measured on product velocity and outcomes, not headcount.What You'll OwnProduct roadmap & platform strategy: Define and drive the roadmap across Toolbx's core platform, ordering, payments, catalog, integrations, and AI capabilities.Hands‐on execution: Lead discovery, prototype solutions, and ship features from concept to launch, including automation of the product development cycle.AI product development: Own the AI‐powered ordering automation (AIOA) product surface and guide it from early‐stage to core product.Integration & ecosystem depth: Own the ERP integration strategy across our dealer ecosystem.Team leadership: Manage and develop 2 – 3 PMs, providing clarity and removing blockers.Cross‐functional alignment: Partner closely with engineering,



customer success, sales, and design, making decisions when perspectives clash.Product operations & AI workflows: Design and maintain product operating systems, including AI‐assisted workflows for feature requests, competitive monitoring, and roadmap communication.What We're Looking For8+ years in product management, with meaningful time in complex B2B SaaS or vertical software platforms.3+ years managing PMs, growing people rather than just shipping features.Track record of owning outcomes, with metrics that improved due to your decisions.Hands‐on with AI product development, able to ship trustworthy AI features.Experience building AI‐assisted workflows for team operations.Integration fluency, navigating ERP or complex third‐party ecosystems.Robust discovery instincts, frequent customer communication.Exceptional written communication; clear specs and executive updates.Bias for action; comfortable with ambiguity and decision‐making.Systems thinker focused on optimizing product‐engineering workflows.Flexibility to travel regularly to customers.Nice to HaveLBM or distribution familiarity.Mobile‐first product experience.Vertical SaaS or industry cloud background.Early‐stage product leadership experience.Experience at a company undergoing AI transformation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
