This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer who is passionate about employment and labour law and looking to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client‐focused environment.The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced legal team advising employers and employees on a broad range of workplace matters, litigation, and advisory work across multiple industries.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on employment and workplace matters including:Employment standardsHuman rightsOccupational health & safetyWrongful dismissalWorkplace investigations and policiesDraft and review:Employment agreementsWorkplace policiesTermination packagesRestrictive covenant agreementsRepresent clients before:Courts and tribunalsLabour boardsHuman rights tribunalsArbitration proceedingsCollaborate with litigation and corporate law teams on employment‐related mattersManage files independently while maintaining strong client relationshipsContribute to business development initiatives and ongoing client growthQualifications5–7 years of post‐call experience in Employment LawMember in good standing with the Law Society of OntarioExperience gained in private practice or relevant in‐house counsel environmentStrong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and workplace lawExperience handling employment litigation and advisory mattersExcellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple files in a fast‐paced environmentStrong interpersonal and client service skillsExisting client base or business development experience considered an assetIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a driven and detail‐oriented lawyer who thrives in a collaborative workplace and enjoys building long‐term client relationships.
