This position is a unique opportunity to broaden your financial skillset and gain exposure to an evolving industry. This role is intended for individuals who wish to build a long‐term career in Investment Banking with a market‐leading franchise and global platform.What will you do?Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of clients, including building new and manipulating existing financial modelsLead M&A and financing transaction structuring and execution, including coordinating due diligence,



preparing and reviewing analysis and presenting recommendations to clients and colleaguesAssist in generating pitch ideas, conducting market and financial research and leading development of analysis and presentationsClosely monitor regulatory and sector themes to identify potential changes to clients' businessesSecondary coverage for key Mining & Metals clientsEvaluate capital structure alternatives and provide recommendations based on underlying business characteristicsAttend and participate in in‐person meetings with clients and prospective clients, site visits, and diligence and drafting sessionsTrain, mentor, and supervise analysts and associates on day‐to‐day deliverablesCollaborate with colleagues across corporate and investment banking coverage and product groups to deliver holistic financing solutionsWhat do you need to succeed?5-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, preferably focused on mining & metalsUniversity degree, preferably with a focus on Finance, Engineering, or GeologyA desire to learn and a team‐oriented mindsetA clearly defined interest in investment banking and financial markets, and strong knowledge of market structure and themesStrong computer skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointQuantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skillsAdept written and verbal communication, data visualization and problem‐solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines while maintaining careful attention to detailFlexibility in schedule to meet client deadlinesLeadership skillset and desire to make meaningful contributions in a rapid‐paced,
