As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:Senior Manager, AI Strategy and PlanningJob Description SummaryReporting to the Associate Vice President, AI2 Strategy & Planning, the Senior Manager, AI Strategy and Planning plays a critical role in shaping the future direction of AI across TD. This role acts as an internal strategy consultant and trusted advisor to executive leaders, responsible for translating enterprise priorities into actionable strategies, investment recommendations, business cases, and execution roadmaps. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, transformation, and AI, helping identify opportunities that create enterprise value while supporting disciplined investment decision-making. The role requires a highly strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, can structure complex problems, develop data-driven recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.Job DescriptionStrategy DevelopmentSupport the development, refinement, and execution of TD's enterprise AI strategy and strategic priorities.Conduct market, competitive, industry, and internal analyses to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and strategic considerations.Assess future business capabilities, operating models, and investment opportunities required to advance enterprise objectives.Develop strategic recommendations and executive-ready insights for senior leadership and governance forums.Translate broad organizational priorities into actionable initiatives, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.Strategic Investment & Business Case DevelopmentLead the development of investment strategies and support business cases for enterprise AI and transformation initiatives.Build investment theses, scenario analyses, and funding recommendations that inform executive decision-making.Evaluate strategic opportunities through financial, operational, risk, and value realization lenses.Challenge assumptions, quantify benefits, assess dependencies, and provide objective recommendations regarding investment prioritization.Establish value realization approaches, performance measures, and success criteria to support funding decisions and ongoing benefit tracking.Executive Advisory & Decision SupportPartner with senior executives and business leaders to structure and solve complex strategic challenges.Facilitate executive workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders, evaluate options, and drive decisions.Prepare executive-level presentations, briefing materials, and recommendations for governance committees and leadership forums.Support strategic prioritization across competing initiatives, investments, and enterprise objectives.Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in AI, analytics, and business transformation.Enterprise Transformation & GovernanceSupport the development of enterprise frameworks, methodologies,



and processes that improve investment rigor and execution discipline.Contribute to the establishment of consistent approaches for business planning, value realization, investment evaluation, and performance reporting.Partner across business, technology, finance, risk, and operational teams to align objectives and drive successful outcomes.Influence outcomes and build consensus in highly matrixed environments without direct authority.Stakeholder Management & InfluenceBuild trusted relationships with leaders across business segments and corporate functions.Communicate complex concepts and analyses in a clear, concise, and compelling manner tailored to executive audiences.Lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, often operating in environments characterized by ambiguity and competing priorities.Foster collaboration and alignment to accelerate decision-making and strategy execution.QualificationsRequired7-10+ years of experience in business and program strategy, corporate development, business planning, transformation, management consulting, finance, or related disciplines. Experience developing enterprise strategies, executive recommendations, and business cases for complex initiatives.Strong financial acumen including investment analysis, valuation methodologies, scenario modeling, and value realization frameworks.Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizations.Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation development skills.Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives with limited direction.PreferredFinancial services, banking, or enterprise transformation experience.Management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, or strategic finance background.MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent advanced business qualification.Experience supporting AI, data, analytics, digital, or technology-enabled transformation initiatives.Experience developing executive and board-level materials.Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
