Location: Deck Department, Dry Bulk VesselEmployment Type: Full-time/PermanentDate Posted: July 13, 2026Job DutiesThe Captain is the Company's management representative aboard the vessel and they are charged with the responsibility to support and protect the best interests of the Corporation in all areas of their job role.The Captain's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the safety of the crew and any contractors, protection of the environment, the protected operation of the vessel and its cargo, and protection of the owner's commercial interests. The Captain has the overriding authority and responsibility to make decisions with respect to safety and pollution prevention. The Captain is expected to perform his or her duties in accordance with the Canada Shipping Act and Regulations, Canada Labour Code, Company Policies and Procedures, and includes fulfillment of the Company's committed requirements of the ISM Code and the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Standards.This is a management position and is non-unionized.QualificationsMaster Mariner (preferred) or Master,
