Support families in need at Waterloo Regional Health Network as a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Kitchener-Waterloo. This role combines inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for youth.You will be part of a vibrant division with a focus on team-oriented, family-centered care. Engage with an experienced team of six child psychiatrists and countless opportunities for teaching medical students and residents.



You will manage urgent referrals and facilitate comprehensive psychiatric care with the support of a robust allied health staff.Key Responsibilities:Deliver psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settingsConduct medication management and therapeutic interventionsCollaborate across a multidisciplinary healthcare teamOffer urgent evaluations for emergency referralsParticipate in training and supervision for residents and studentsRequirements:Must be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of OntarioCertified by the Royal College of Physicians in PsychiatryInterest from final-year residents is encouragedTeam-based work experience preferredProficiency in medication management and therapeutic methodsMake a difference in child and adolescent mental health services at WRHN in Kitchener-Waterloo.#J-18808-Ljbffr
