Job Description2026 Fair Washroom Facility Attendants & Grounds Clean‐Up – Part‐time; SeasonalCompensationFair Washroom Facility Attendant: $20.57/hr (PG 74) plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation – Must be 19 years of age or older by August 1, 2026.Fair Grounds Clean‐Up: $18.54/hr (PG 63) plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation – Must be 15 years of age or older by August 1, 2026.Fair Grounds Clean‐Up – Night: $19.99/hr (PG 73) plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation – Must be 19 years of age or older by August 1, 2026.Why Join Us?We create memorable experiences and we have fun doing it.Base wage starts at $18.54/hr with 5% additional pay in lieu of vacation & other benefits, resulting in a total of $19.46/hour.Training and development – learn new skills and gain valuable work experience.Career growth – opportunities for promotions and position transfers.Opportunity to create lasting memories & friendships.Excellent perks & employee rewards, including employee discounts on passes to the Fair and at all PNE Food Stands.Gift card rewards available all season long.ResponsibilitiesEnsure assigned areas and washrooms of the Fair site are maintained in a clean and debris‐free manner at all times.Conduct cleaning duties including, but not limited to, emptying waste disposal bins, sweeping walkways, picking up litter,



and sanitising food consumption areas.Collaborate with other staff members to promptly address any cleanliness issues and uphold the Fair's standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Provide exceptional and friendly guest service.Adhere to the PNE Uniform and Appearance policy at all times.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious janitorial experience is an asset; experience required otherwise.Proactive, initiative‐driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills and ability to provide courteous and professional guest service.Ability to follow detailed directions from supervisors and management.Previous guest/customer service experience is an asset.Physical capacity to walk and stand for the duration of shifts; sufficient strength, stamina, and coordination.ScheduleThe PNE Fair runs from August 22 – September 7.Training and orientation will take place throughout the 2 weeks prior to August 22.The Fair is open from 11 AM – 11 PM with a variety of shifts available.Must be available for up to full‐time hours (40 hrs per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights.Equal OpportunityThe PNE is proud to be an equal‐opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive workforce that reflects the diverse community we proudly serve.
