What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with Condoauthorityontario's mission and objectives, ensuring they meet the needs of condominium owners and residents.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key areas for improvement and innovation within the condominium sector.
- Engage with government officials, industry stakeholders, and community organizations to advocate for policies that benefit condominium governance and management.
- Analyze market trends and legislative changes to provide informed recommendations to the executive team.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations to the board of directors and other stakeholders, highlighting progress and outcomes of strategic initiatives.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication across the condominium community.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes and provide insights into best practices within the condominium sector.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the organization.
- Represent Condoauthorityontario at industry conferences, workshops, and public forums to promote our initiatives and gather feedback from the community.
- Stay informed about national and provincial trends affecting the condominium sector, ensuring that Condoauthorityontario remains a leader in the industry.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a strategic advisory or leadership role, preferably within the public sector or condominium industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and improvement.
- Strong understanding of condominium governance, regulations, and best practices in Ontario.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in project management, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- A degree in business administration, public policy, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and advocate for organizational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
