Become an integral part of the healthcare team as a PACU Registered Nurse in an ambulatory surgical setting. This role requires total responsibility for patient care and expert monitoring of patient conditions.
In this position, you will provide comprehensive nursing care under physician direction, ensuring the comfort and safety of pre-operative patients. Your expertise in administering medication and your attention to detail will be vital as you prepare patients for surgery and support them through recovery. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and implement nursing care for pre-operative patients
• Administer medications and document treatments




• Discharge patients according to facility policies
• Review patient charts for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all necessary pre-operative tests are conducted
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in quick-paced environments
