Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is hiring a Marine Structural Engineer, Team Lead to join our growing Power & Transportation team in Vancouver. You'll be working on marine and civil infrastructure projects in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.As part of our Vancouver office—where many of KCB's largest infrastructure projects are delivered—you'll contribute to the growth of our ports and marine engineering business, reporting directly to a Senior Department Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead technical design work while mentoring junior staff and contributing to major infrastructure projects in Canada and internationally.What You'll DoIn this senior role, you'll:Lead engineering design for ports, harbours, and large civil infrastructure projectsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and draftersMentor junior staff and help grow the technical capabilities of the teamPrepare technical reports, proposals, and project summariesParticipate in site visits to gather design input and ensure quality throughout project phasesFoster strong client relationships and contribute to business developmentOccasionally travel within Canada and abroadWhat We're Looking ForYou have:P.Eng. registration in Canada (or eligibility in BC); P.E. (USA) is an asset20+ years of progressive engineering experience, including project delivery in port engineering or similar heavy civil projectsStrong technical design experience in:Reinforced concrete and structural steelFoundations (piled and other),



marine structures, and earthworksSeismic and marine-specific designEffective cross-disciplinary coordination skillsProven team leadership and ability to communicate across all levelsExcellent verbal and written English and strong report writing capabilitiesFamiliarity with construction scheduling for large projectsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeThe salary for this position is $120,000 to $170,000 per year.
