San Diego Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) Team Lead provides telephone screening, triage and referral services and ensures that every consumer caller receives a timely response to their call, accurate assessments, appropriate interventions and skilled attention. They also provide supervision of assigned team members and support to the Crisis Access Line. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on‐call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work‐related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on‐call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.G., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.Shifts AvailableFull‐Time | AM | Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with every other Wednesday working 8 hours; Days: Sunday – Tuesday with every other Wednesday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PMFull‐Time | NOC | Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Days varyExpected starting wage range is $106,727.31 – $131,851.47. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)A Master's Degree in Social Work or related fieldTwo (2)
years post‐masters experience providing crisis response with mentally ill individualsCurrent licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, etc.Certified to perform W & I 5150 Holds in the fieldOne (1) year supervisory experience or supervisory training within six (6) months of employmentSensitivity to multi‐cultural populations and issuesMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employmentAll opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post‐offer physical examination, 2‐step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, a valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. This program collaborates and accepts referrals from County Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in‐person intervention, and case management.
