You work as part of a team in a quick-paced environment to contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction. You ensure that all product is stored and prepared at the correct temperatures, is labelled, dated and rotated, and stored according to type. You clean all work areas, equipment and dishes, and dispose of garbage and recycling. You also support the kitchen and take down catering events as needed.What You Will DoFOOD PREPARATION:Prepare and present high-quality catering and pub food efficiently to contribute to overall customer service and satisfactionSlice vegetables, meats and bread products, and portion them appropriatelyPrepare proteins including fish, chicken and beefPrecook necessary ingredients as well as pre-assemble dishes and ingredients with appropriate portionsRestock line items and prepped food as neededStore and prepare all product at the correct temperaturesCommunicate with team to ensure chits are understood and presentation is coordinatedMake soup daily following recipesOPERATIONAL DUTIES:Understand and follow all policies and proceduresEnsure pub is a safe environment for all usersSet up and take down the lineClean all work areas, equipment and dishesMaintain deep-fryer cleanliness and oil qualityLabel, date and rotate all product,



and store according to typeProvide support for the dishwasher during slower timesDocument any product wasteTake down catering events as neededEmpty garbage's and take bags out to dumpster; break down cardboard and take to recycling binOTHER RELATED DUTIES:Support Student Executives and staff members for their respective initiativesAssist in training employeesAssist other staff with duties, especially when busyOther related duties as requiredWorking as a team player and keep a consistent food regardless of shift timeAttend all staff meetings and training sessions as requiredAbout YouWith an open, engaging attitude and willingness to learn, you are someone who promotes teamwork, hard work, and accountability in line with our culture and objectives.
