About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Partner (Architecture) to lead its strategic design direction and oversee multi-family residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of design excellence, functionality, and constructability. This role involves business leadership, including firm operations, staffing, and resource planning, as well as managing project schedules, budgets, and profitability. The Managing Partner will also be the key representative of the firm to clients, consultants, and external partners, and will support long-term strategic planning and business development.

As a design principal and business leader,



the Managing Partner will lead the architectural vision and design standards for all multi-family projects, guide the project team through the design process, and ensure alignment with client, municipal, and construction requirements. Team management is a critical aspect of the role, involving the mentorship of project architects, fostering a cooperative studio culture, and overseeing internal design standards and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in architecture, engineering, or a related field, be a licensed architect in Canada, and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry. Proficiency in BIM/Revit workflows, strong knowledge of construction systems, and experience in design-build or integrated delivery environments are also key qualifications.
