Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.YOUR MISSIONAs an Electrical Engineer II, Radio Frequency (RF) at True Anomaly, you will build upon your foundational skills by supporting RF system design across our ground and space hardware. You will be responsible for RF components within an established architecture. You will contribute reliably to spacecraft communication programs, collaborate actively with your team and other subsystem teams.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, specify, and evaluate moderate-complexity RF components within the overall system architecture, with guidance as neededPerform applicable analyses including link budgets, antenna pattern evaluations, compatibility, and others as needed.Develop and execute test plans for RF modules; perform evaluations anddata assessmentCollaborate with mechanical, software, power, and thermal engineering teams; understand cross-discipline dependenciesCommunicate proactively within the team on status, risks,



and findingsSupport documentation efforts for RF component designs and test resultsIdentify process improvements that contribute to team efficiencyActively support peers and share knowledge across the teamQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field2-4 years of experience in RF engineering for aerospace or related applicationsDemonstrated ability to design or evaluate RF components such as LNAs, amplifiers, and passive networksExperience performing link budget analysis and interpreting RF test dataHands-on experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)Strong collaborative and communication skillsPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with RF simulation tools (MATLAB, HFSS, FEKO, CST, or similar)Familiarity with space communication protocols (CCSDS or similar)Exposure to EMI/EMC requirements and test methodsExperience in a startup or fast-paced engineering environmentCOMPENSATIONBase Salary: $90,000 - $135,000Equity + Perks including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveYour actual level and base salary will bedetermined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSWork Location - Successful candidates will be located near Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA.Work workplace - the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.Physical demands - the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.True Anomaly is committed to equal employment opportunity on any basis protected by applicable state and federal laws.
