You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.ResponsibilitiesManage procedures and work instructions related to risk and opportunity managementDevelop a risk breakdown structure aligned with project WBS and CBSDesign the human and material resources required to complete risk management services on a project successfullyPrepare risk training materials and train the team on the principle of Risk ManagementForecast market trends in risk management and collaborate with Risk V to implement process improvements or efficienciesProvide technical support to the management of project risk through the facilitation of regular risk reviews at the project and program levelMaintain risk registers at the project and program levelPerform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software (like Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) and provide the interpretation of analysis results (like Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart)Establish detailed project and program risk reports including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposuresClarify with risk owners that mitigation actions are on trackEnsure compliance with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of work by all program team membersReview contractor progress reports and identify the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk register, while working closely with the team and stakeholdersLiaise with scheduling to prepare high-level schedules (or assess detailed schedules) to be used for quantitative schedule risk analysis and define the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activitiesCollaborate with cost to monitor project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposuresProvide input for project and program-level reportingEvaluate risk mitigation effectiveness by consulting with clients, staff,



and assigned Risk VGuide and train Risk Levels I to III technicallyAuthorize related work and control the delivery of the project per the project planMonitor staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlinesClarify and resolve internal quality control checks and issues for the projectDefine risk management success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycleRecommend and manage project and program risk management expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholdersComplete any tasks assigned by Risk V or higher in an efficient and timely mannerQualificationsMinimum of 8 years of experience in Risk ManagementBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldHolding recognized certifications including RMP – Risk Management ProfessionalBonus PointsStrong understanding of prevailing Risk Management methodsExtensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performanceAdvanced skills in Microsoft OfficeMastery of Risk Management software Active Risk Manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen Risk, etc.Proficient in Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse and MS ProjectMust maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practicesAbility to arrange priorities and elevate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimal input from leadershipKeen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilitiesExpert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environmentEffectively leads multi-resource risk teamsExpert ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengthsDemonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacityTact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tensionAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving setting promoting effective leadership and teamwork, innovation, and excellenceDemonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practicesGreat people skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersWorks in a fast-paced project environment with the ability to respond to changing priorities from different levels of the organizationExperience providing effective risk training and guidance to individuals and teamsDemonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, positive team environment, supporting teams through key prioritiesProven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risksCompensationRole Location: British ColumbiaAnnual Salary Range: $118K to $168KBenefitsWork on the largest and most complex capital programs, enabling efficient use of capital and higher ROIWork with purpose: create positive change and make the world better for our people, clients, and communities,
