Base + CommAs a Sales Director you'll be leading a high performing team of Account Executives focused on growing our consultant group benefits business.What You Will DoWork closely with Account Executives on day to day concerns including handling escalated issuesRelationship management with business partners both internally and externallyWork collaboratively with regional service counterparts to ensure customer needs are exceededAchieve business objectives and execute quarterly regional business plans as rolled out by the Vice President, National Accounts SalesProvide leadership and coaching to your sales team to drive performance and achieve business objectivesMaintain and strengthen relationships with consultants and customers, to achieve annual sales, persistency, and other targetsManage the sales process from request for proposal to finalist presentationWork closely with consultants, customers, and client relationship staff to ensure customer satisfaction through our new business implementation process and ongoing account management.Promote additional products and services with consultants, customers, and regional service counterpart(s) to enhance client retentionMaintain small caseload of large or complex clients, as necessary, to support their unique sales needsWhat You Will Bring10+ years of sales experience in Group Insurance ideally in leadershipExcellent relationship management skillsUnderstand the business environment and consultants/customer needs to create competitive advantageCreate alignment on opportunities to drive sales results and ensure retention of clientsWork to ensure resources are deployed effectively to meet customer needs, and balance peaks and valleys in workloadBuild partnerships to seek opportunity for cross selling with consultants and customersContribute to the development of new products and services by sharing ideas and concepts with the Vice President, National Sales,

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.E. annual bonus, commission etc).
