This individual is expected to pursue an academic career based on research and education. This position is primarily based at Vancouver General Hospital in conjunction with a potential clinical role at St. Paul's Hospital, both of which are University of British Columbia (UBC)-affiliated teaching hospitals. This role will also be a clinical faculty position within the Division of Cardiology at UBC. The Division will support an appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher, however appointments at UBC are assigned at a rank determined by the Appointments and Promotion Committee of the UBC Department of Medicine. The Division operates an academic practice plan, which the successful candidate is expected to contribute to, and be eligible to receive a supplementary stipend for exceptional academic contribution.You will:Support the Leslie Diamond Women's Heart Health Centre as a principal commitment in addition to general cardiology coverage at either or both St.
