The role requires strong safety leadership, mentoring technicians, planning workloads, and creating efficiencies.Competitive base salary – PLUS 6.5% Regional Premium and bonuses! 14 shifts on, 14 shifts off – perfect for work/life balance. Shifts are 12 1⁄2 hours, alternating days and nights.Responsibilities:Adhere to, promote, and enforce all company, contractual, legislated, and client safety initiatives.Supervise maintenance and repairs of Heavy Metal's and the client's equipment/fleet to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.Delegate repairs and maintenance according to priorities.Ensure care and consideration for all assets, including service vehicles, tooling, property, and shop.Manage, motivate, develop, and provide direct leadership, mentorship, and coaching to technicians.Manage work orders,



including back charges.Qualifications:5+ years of hands‐on experience in a mining environment as a Red Seal or Journeyman with 2+ years at Lead Hand level.3+ years experience with dozers, haul trucks, shovels, and excavators of major brands (CAT, John Deere, Hitachi, Komatsu).Superior leadership skills to mentor and guide the team in a safe, positive environment.Team-oriented communication style at all organizational levels.Strong ethics and compliance with rules and regulations.Excellent customer service skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to pass respiratory fit test, meet fitness standards, and handle 50 lb.Clean Driver's Abstract and Advanced Class 5 License.Bonus perks for commuters.
