ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the management and coordination of advanced contract administration and procurement activities associated with contracts under various programs and projectsLead the commercial team members in performing commercial management and administration of contracts and procurementsManage team dynamics and performance-related issues including the review and approval of timesheets, vacation requests, employee evaluations, employee engagements, etc.Liaise with the client representatives on team performance and overall deliverable issuesDevelop new commercial plans, processes, or administration and reporting methods in consultation with all applicable stakeholdersDetermine the human and material resource requirements to successfully administer and manage procurements, contracts, or other commercial elementsFormulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work against various contracts, claims, procurements, or other commercial issuesExercise authority in managing the work and controlling the management of contracts and procurements per the commercial and procurement management plansMonitor commercial and procurement staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines, policies, and proceduresReview and ensure adherence to the overall commercial terms, schedule, and budgetIdentify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans through both the procurement and administration process of the contractsTrack, analyze, and report on performance against commercial requirements, schedules, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators),
and address issues with corrective actions as appropriateEvaluate and assure contractual requirements and effectiveness by consulting with clients and commercial staffConsult with the assigned Contract Administration and Procurement IV or higher to seek guidance and input during the key phases of the contract or projectComplete any tasks assigned by the Contract Administration and Procurement IV or higher in an efficient and timely mannerWorking Conditions and RequirementsOffice-based – VancouverWith all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Flexibility is provided to support work/life needs.Minimum of 8 years of experience in Contract or Procurement and Supply Chain ManagementUndergraduate degree in relevant fields of Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or Supply ManagementHolding recognized certification in specified fields of Engineering, Contracts Management, Program Management, or Procurement Management including project management certification such as PMI, PEO, CPCM, CIPS, CSCP, CPSM or equivalent.
